A number of the biggest names in the entertainment industry fashioned looks with a sheer element, making it one of the most notable trends of the night.

Supermodel Heidi Klum sparkled in a Valdrin Sahiti gown with a sheer skirt and intricate detailing and beading with a dramatic silhouette at the Elton John Oscars Party. She accessorized with jewels by Lorraine Schwartz and shoes by Alevì Milano.
Quinta Brunson
Emmy winner Quinta Brunson elevated her Oscars party look in a Marc Bouwer gown, featuring a high slit, sheer fabric and dazzling silver beading throughout the fabric. Her accessories included Simon G. Jewelry and Santoni heels. She was styled by Jessica Paster.
Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding’s dress brought the full sheer effect. She wore a long-sleeve dress that featured small, sparkling details throughout the fabric.
Chrissy Teigen
Chrissy Teigen’s Oscar de la Renta dress featured sheer fabric and floral detailing, which extended to the long strands of fabric incorporated throughout the skirt.
Katharine McPhee Foster
Katharine McPhee Foster was glowing in a sheer gown, which featured delicate jewels. McPhee Foster’s straps also feature small black bow appliqués.

The Elton John Oscar Viewing Dinner and After Party is a highly anticipated event dedicated to supporting the Elton John AIDS Foundation and its efforts in reaching marginalized communities affected by AIDS. Tiffany Haddish, Neil Patrick Harris and his husband, David Burtka, were chosen to host this year’s event, which included a gala dinner, viewing of the Oscar telecast and a live auction.
The Vanity Fair Oscar Party, first held in 1994, is one of the best-known parties following the Academy Awards. The annual bash, hosted by the magazine’s editor in chief, Radhika Jones, was attended by a plethora of A-listers, including those not present at the annual Oscars ceremony.
