Jennifer Lawrence is always well dressed, both on and off the red carpet. The Golden Globes were no different; not only did she attend in a beautiful midnight-blue Dior gown, but her after-party look was just as chic.
After delivering a fashion statement in velvet for the ceremony, Lawrence changed into another elegant velvet number to continue her night. Her buttery gold Proenza Schouler dress featured a high cowl neckline, worn underneath a long vintage Bill Blass coat with a multi-gold-tone cheetah-print pattern and a brown fur collar. She topped off the look with a simple black clutch bag with gold detailing.
Lawrence’s husband, the art gallerist Cooke Maroney, joined her for the rare night out. He looked suave in a classic black tux with a white dress shirt and a black bow-tie.
Lawrence’s after-party look channels the same timeless essence that characterized her Golden Globes red-carpet ensemble – both of which were curated by her stylist Jamie Mizrahi. As a Dior ambassador, the actress naturally represented the French fashion house for the main event in her deep blue gown, which she paired with a pearl-embellished clutch and diamond jewelery from Tiffany & Co.
Lawrence attended the ceremony as a nominee in the category of Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, which recognized her role in comedy No Hard Feelings. The award on the night went to Emma Stone, for her turn in Poor Things.
