Liputan6.com, Jakarta – The Indonesian Artists Association (GSI), which supports Ganjar Pranowo, continues to embrace young influencers and artists to channel the talents and creativity of millennials and generation Z in several regions in Indonesia.
This time, GSI collaborated with dozens of young people from Citayam Fashion Week (CFW) along with content creators, dancers, Instagram celebrities and TikTokers to hold Bandung Street Fashion at Alun-Alun Cicendo, Bandung, West Java, on Saturday 26 August 2023.
This association of artists supporting Ganjar Pranowo also collaborated with famous influencer Thariq Halilintar to enliven this street fashion event. Apart from that, there were influencers, CFW alumni, celebs, dancers, content creators and artists from Bandung, such as Bebew, Abdul Sofi Allail alias Ale, and Dilan Bekasi.
GSI Coordinator for Gen Z and Millennials, Kiki Astrida, said that her party is targeting millennials and Gen Z in the Flower City to develop their creativity and talent in the world of fashion through the Bandung Street Fashion performance.
“Today we are in the extraordinary city of Bandung. This time, we are playing with fashion color. I am very happy that GSI can hold this street fashion so that children can get to know each other and increase their network,” said Astrid.
To reach out to the youth, millennials and generation Z of Bandung City, GSI held a Fashion Show Color Pop Editon, K-Pop Dance Cover, Skate Board Trick and Face Painting competition. This event can also be a useful and positive means of entertainment for the people of Bandung and its surroundings.
“There are dance competitions, K-pop, karaoke entertainment and ska music from Bandung youth. So, this is indeed an extraordinary activity,” he explained.
Astrid stated that his party was inspired by presidential candidate (bacapres) Ganjar Pranowo in every activity held.
“I see that Mr Ganjar Pranowo is really loved by gen Z and millennials. He also really cares about millennial young people. Therefore, we provide support to him who really likes young people’s activities like this,” he said.
